Do your products contain nickel?

All our buttons, zippers, jewellery, and other metal details are thoroughly tested for nickel. Lindex follows the limit values established by the EU, and according to European legislation (in effect since 2000), these products may not release nickel above the permitted levels. To ensure compliance, we carry out our own regular testing on both jewellery and other metal components.

Can the products still cause reactions if you are allergic to nickel?

Unfortunately, no test can guarantee that a product is 100% nickel‑free. If you are highly sensitive, even items that have passed all tests may cause a reaction on the skin. In such cases, the amount of nickel involved is extremely small and not measurable, but it may still affect individuals with a strong nickel allergy.
